Tuesday, May 28, 2019 starting at 11.00, the Nordic Hotel Forum (Viru väljak 3, Tallinn, Estonia) hosted an international seminar with Nordic and Baltic and Czech construction classification specialists.
The main focus of the seminar was on the CoClass system developed in Sweden, the development of its international usage arrangements and the piloting experience of the system in Estonia.
Before the seminar a Letter of Intent (LoI) was signed by international delegates from Sweden, Finland and the Czech Republic stating that we will work together to develop the governance and management model for CoClass International by January 1st 2020. UPDATE Nov-2019: Norway and Denmark have also joined the initiative by signing the LoI on 14th of November in Stockholm.
During his opening speech the Estonian Deputy Secretary General for Construction Jüri Rass noted that the signing of this letter is a big step toward adopting a unified construction classification system and the single digital market in Europe.”We hope that the collaboration started between our countries will be a beacon of guiding light for the rest of Europe and we invite all countries to join our initiative!”
