Deadline: December 2019

Kliimaministeerium

Update from February 20, 2020: the project was presented at the international BIM-based building permits seminar held in Tallinn today. The video recording and presentations are available on the event website.

On May 17, 2019, Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications started analyzing the possibilities for automating the building permit process using BIM-based workflows. The purpose of the project is to find out the technical requirements for implementing a BIM-based process in EHR (Estonian Building Registry), to specify verifiable claim types, to create a Proof of Concept and User Interaction (UX) mock-ups of the EHR user interface. The project was made in collaboration with a Dutch consulting company Future Insight and was funded by the European Commission Structural Reform Support Program.

Project reports and presentations are attached as documents at the end of the page.

UX mock-ups can be accessed via the Figma environment.
